888 Holdings plc has announced that it is soon to launch a fully managed sportsbook under its 888sport brand. One reason 888 Poker has seen the highest growth of all the major sites over the last few years is that it is constantly improving the flow of customers from its other online gambling games.
A deal with Kambi Sports Solutions will deliver technology that “will be fully integrated with 888's state-of-the-art back office platform, enabling the players to move seamlessly between poker, casino and sport.”
888 Poker is quoted on the London Stock Exchange and has seen its share price increase by 160% over the last year. Its loyal online poker player base has defied slow downs elsewhere in the market and consistently grown for over two years, making 888 Poker the fifth most popular site in the world.
The company has already secured a Nevada gaming license and struck deals with Caesars Interactive Entertainment and the WSOP that should soon give US players a chance to see how much the software has improved since Black Friday.
Their joint play money site has been running since 2009, but rumors of a launch of the WSOP branded real money poker room powered by 888 Poker have come thick and fast as the opening events of the WSOP draw closer.
888 Poker has carved out a distinctive position in the market with webcam enabled tables, and an excellent Android mobile app.
