  • Location: Rome, Italy
  • Age: 25
  • Profession: Poker Player
  • Lifetime Earnings: $104,917
  • Biggest Poker Score: 2015 $1,500 WSOP — 20th Place ($45,633)

Federico Butteroni is a poker pro from Rome, Italy. He has final table experience and previous live tournament earnings of just over $100K.

He won a Rio Daily Deepstacks tournament this past summer for $31,756 and final tabled three other tournaments in 2014 at the Crown Casino in Perth, Australia.

Butteroni will have to go to work early at the final table, as he is on a very short stack. Holding just over 15 big blinds he'll be desperate, and need to secure an early double up to improve on his already guaranteed $1,001,020.

He’ll certainly be well advised heading in, as he’s enlisted the infamous 14-time WSOP bracelet winner Phil Hellmuth as his coach to help him prepare. Just before the start of the final table, Butteroni will spend five days with Hellmuth learning and going over every possible situation.

Hellmuth had this to say about his latest endeavor, "I’m really looking forward to it, I think Federico… 16 blinds, doesn’t have a lot of chips, but he thinks a lot like I do. He has a great story and let’s see what happens. I need Federico to run it up. November Niner coaching, let’s do this!"

With Hellmuth in his corner, Butteroni will be looking to chip up and climb that pay ladder. He has to, he has no choice. He needs to stay alive and give himself a shot at taking down the most prestigious poker tournament in the world, the WSOP Main Event.

The final table resumes November 8th at 8:30 pm ET live on ESPN. Leading up to the final table, ESPN will also be airing weekly coverage of the 2015 WSOP Main Event Championship. You can also follow Federico Butteroni on Twitter @FedericoButter1
