Scott CarlsonContent Manager
Scott first caught the poker bug like so many other have, by watching the movie Rounders. He first started playing online at PokerRoom.com in the early 2000’s. When he final tabled a 1600 player freeroll two weeks in a row he was instantly hooked.
He would go on and final table the event and earn $2,630 for his 8th place finish. He admits he never really knew how to bluff back then and just ran good to make it that deep.
Scott’s first year at the WSOP was in 2005 when he played a $1,500 buy-in No Limit Hold’em event. While in Vegas, he learned all about single table satellites and would go on to win the first one he ever played. He promptly used the $1,500 to play in a Razz event that same year.
Scott has also won a seat to the 2006 WSOP Main Event on PokerStars. He also played several $1,500 and $2,000 events that year but is still looking for that first elusive WSOP cash.
Today you can find Scott playing in live cash games and tournaments wherever his travels take him around the World.
