Betsafe rakeback works through a VIP program but is quite similar to a typical rakeback system because it uses direct payments. The 'Cash is King' program at Betsafe is one that players must opt-in to. There are 4 VIP levels you can earn- each one requires you to accumulate a specific number of Player Points each month. Points are earned by playing in cash games or tournaments for real money at Betsafe. The maximum effective Betsafe rakeback that players can earn is 40%, available to Diamond Elite players.
A player Opt-in is required to receive payments from the Cash is King program. As long as you opt-in before end of the month, you will get credited for the full month.
To claim your cash, you'll need to opt-in for the Cash is King program and earn a status level. Each level pays cash back to players on the first day of each month as a percentage of what they raked over the previous month. For example, if a Diamond Elite player paid $5,000 in rake in a given month, the 1st business day of the following month they would receive about a $2,000 Betsafe rakeback payment directly into their account. This is because that player would qualify for 30-40% cash back based on the Cash is King scale.
VIP levels are awarded based on calendar monthly Player Points (PPs) that you gain, and your first month will be paid according to the highest level you get. Example rake targets are given based on tournament rake, as PPs are awarded at a standard rate from tournament entry fees. Points accumulation from cash games varies based on stakes, pot size and number of players.
