Carbon Poker runs a ‘$25,000 Race for Riches’ promotion every month, a set of four rake races paying out over $25k in cash combined.
Open to all players, compete by simply earning as many VIP points as possible, and multiply your final leaderboard score by entering select multi table tournaments (MTTs).
Carbon Poker Rake Race Dates
Each monthly race is split into four week long $6,700 races typically on the following dates, with prizes awarded 24 hours after the race is completed:

Carbon Rake Race Payouts
Each weekly race awards cash prizes to the top 75 players on the leaderboard:

Carbon Rake Race Tournament Multipliers
Play any of the select MTTs listed below during a race and you’ll earn a 0.1 multiplier bonus for each. Players start with a multiplier of 1 – play one of the events below, and that becomes 1.1. Play two for a multiplier of 1.2, and so on. Playing all ten will give you a final leaderboard score of double your VIP points.

Carbon Poker Rake Race Example – Volume Required
Below is an example race payout structure, taken from the last week of November 2013. The top spot on the leaderboard won with a base rake of $2,882 before considering MTT multipliers. He earned a 34.7% return on his play that week.

Carbon Poker Rake Race Leaderboard
Current Race for Riches leaderboard standings can be viewed on the Carbon Poker website, updated daily. Hundreds of spots are tracked by player number, so you can still compare your progress to others anonymously if you don’t manage to place in the top 75.
