Carbon Poker offers VIP rakeback, a cash rebate on the rake you pay.
Players earn VIP points as they play, and can exchange these for cash to withdraw along with their winnings – VIP rewards work in essentially the same way as a flat rakeback program.
Your rakeback at Carbon Poker in percentage terms depends on how many VIP points you earn each month, which then determines your VIP status and the VIP rewards you can claim.

The above VIP program was introduced Oct 1, 2013 to replace the previous system (with VIP levels named Earth, Wind, Fire, Water and Ether). Your VIP level can be viewed in the client under Player Admin.

Carbon Poker VIP Points
10 VIP points are earned per $1 in rake paid, whether in cash games, STTs or MTTs. Points can be exchanged for cash in the VIP Store in discrete amounts, enabling you to cashout a certain maximum rakeback per month.
VIP points can also be used for tournament entries. Doing so is equivalent to 10% rakeback, giving all players a minimum cash rebate of 10% even if they fail to qualify for the Carbon tier.
How to Get Invited to Carbon Elite Status
Carbon Poker VIP rewards are highest at Carbon Elite level – 35% – with the highest max rewards per month. However no information has been released by Carbon as to the lucrative status’ invite criteria. This appears deliberate.
