Full Tilt Poker Hearing Set for July 26th

By Ian Hiaring, Rakeback.com Poker News Staff Writer

Full Tilt PokerIn less than two weeks, we’ll know a bit more about the immediate future of Full Tilt Poker when the Alderney Gambling Control Commission (AGCC) holds a public hearing in London.

The hearing will take place at 10am on July 26th at the Park Plaza Victoria Hotel in London.

Last month the AGCC suspended Full Tilt Poker’s operating license, leading to a worldwide shutdown of the online poker giant.

It remains to be seen exactly what the results of the hearing will be, but the AGCC released a statement which lays out its purpose.

"The purpose of the hearing will be to make public evidence from both AGCC and Full Tilt regarding the suspension of Full Tilt’s license and to adjudicate the findings transparently.

“AGCC’s choice to hold a public hearing in to the future of Full Tilt Poker demonstrates our willingness to act transparently and we will welcome members of the public and the media. As ever at all times, our primary concern is the protection of the player.”

We’ll keep you posted on any developments to this story as they take place.
