Full Tilt Poker has seen better days, that’s for sure. Last week a second class-action lawsuit was filed in United States District Court against the troubled company.
EGR Magazine is reporting that Canadians Donald Whelan and Zayn Jetha are behind the suit, and that Ray Bitar, Nelson Burtnick and Howard Lederer are the only individuals named in the filing. Other than Lederer, no other members of Team Full Tilt are named in the suit.
The filing against Full Tilt Poker is very similar to another class-action lawsuit filed last month. The biggest difference being that last month’s suit was filed on behalf of players from the U.S. only, whereas the the Whelan/Jetha suit is on behalf of anyone in the world who has funds tied up with Full Tilt Poker.
A summons was issued to all involved parties on August 9th, and the Rakeback.com News Team will keep an eye on this story as it develops.
