With the re-launch of Full Tilt Poker just weeks away (November 6th), we have officially learned that certain significant changes will be taking place.
As we already reported, the site will open with a rewards system rather than rakeback.
Additionally, Full Tilt Poker will re-launch without an affiliate program. This means you will not be able to receive the benefits that Rakeback.com used to offer to new signups, including rake races, exclusive freerolls, value-added tournaments, and reload bonuses.
When PokerStars acquired assets belonging to Full Tilt, they did not acquire all of the liabilities that the company had. Although PokerStars will be paying out player account funds to non-US players, they will not pay any affiliate sites for prior earnings which were due under previous agreements with former Full Tilt companies.
An email from Full Tilt has informed us that an affiliate program is in the works, and that they hope to launch it in early 2013. Until then, you can still take advantage of sites that continue to offer exclusive promotions through Rakeback.com, including PokerStars and US-facing Merge Network sites like Carbon Poker and Black Chip Poker.
