There is no option to call, players can choose to fold or raise, which means all the action is pre-flop, and most flops see all the money going in. A fast fold button provides the option to fold and move to another table immediately.
Students of the game will immediately recognize that maths will be everything in deciding whether to play or fold – there won’t be much in the way of bluffing with such short stacks. Even when stacks get large, as they do quite quickly at Rush poker, the 10bb cap will keep the decisions simple.
To promote the new game, Full Tilt is offering Adrenaline Rush Knockout with $60k in extra prizes to be won on a leaderboard basis.
Once players have opted in, they can score points towards their leaderboard position by busting opponents while playing Adrenaline Rush. Busting simply means reducing an opponents stack to zero at the end of a hand. rebuys continue as normal, so there are multiple opportunities to bust the same opponent.
The promotion runs twice. Week one, starting January 20, and Week two starting February 2. There are three leaderboards each week, Low ($0.02/$0.05 - $0.05/$0.10), Medium ($0.10/$0.20 - $0.25/$0.50) and High ($0.50/$1 - $1/$2).
The top 100 names on the leaderboard at the end of each week will get cash prizes. The leaderboard winner will pick up $600, $1,100 or $1,600 for the low, medium and high competitions.
