Players must first opt in via the ‘My Promotions” menu in the cashier. The promotion depends on the type of Sit and Go. Tickets are awarded for finishing in the money in 3 normal Sit and Gos, 4 Turbo Sit and Go or 6 Super Turbo Sit and Gos.
Each ticket gives an entry to a Money Flip Freeroll which is a 9 man Sit and Go with an all-in every hand format. There is no need to be there when the tournament runs, every player is all-in every hand until there is a winner. The winner will receive a prize equal to the buy-in of the Sit and Gos which he cashed in to get the ticket.
Players who choose not to register for the Money Flip Freeroll can save their tickets and exchange them for a buy in for their Sit and Go stake level at the rate of 10 tickets to one buy in.
The Money Flip Freeroll offers 9 to 1 odds, so exchanging tickets has a slightly lower expected value, but some players, especially those who do not expect to win many freeroll tickets may prefer the lower variance.
“In The Money is the icing on the cake for Sit & Go Tournament winners,” says Sarne Lightman, Full Tilt Poker’s Head of Marketing. “Not only will they get their prize money, but with our fast-paced In The Money Flip Freerolls, they can win entry into another Sit & Go Tournament and go again for free!”
Most of the 6 to 27 player Sit and Gos qualify for the In the Money promotion. At buy in levels above $60, the tickets that are awarded can be used either for entry to the $60 Money Flip Freeroll or exchanged for a $60 Sit and Go entry.
