Full Tilt Poker offers three types of doubles tournaments every day, the Early Double, the Daily Double and the Big Double. Each Double has two separate tournaments running simultaneously (e.g. Early Double – A and Early Double – B). You earn a piece of the jackpot for at least cashing in both tournaments.

Early Double

In the Early Double $0.50 of each entry fee goes towards the progressive jackpot. If you cash in both events you split 3% of the jackpot with all of the players who cashed in both tournaments. The player who has the highest average finish in both tournaments will win 2% of the jackpot. If you win both tournaments, you will win 75% of the jackpot.

Daily Double

In the Daily Double $1 of each entry fee goes towards the progressive jackpot. If you cash in both events you split 3% of the jackpot with all of the players who cashed in both tournaments. The player who has the highest average finish in both tournaments will win 2% of the jackpot. If you win both tournaments, you will win 75% of the jackpot.

Big Double

In the Big Double $9 of each entry fee goes towards the progressive jackpot. If you cash in both events you split 3% of the jackpot with all of the players who cashed in both tournaments. The player who has the highest average finish in both tournaments will win 2% of the jackpot. If you win both tournaments, you will win 75% of the jackpot.

Triple Double

If you win all six tournaments in a calendar month you win a bonus of $1 million. You must win both “A” and “B” version of each Double tournament to take down the bonus.

Full Tilt Double Tournament Strategy

Use your normal tournament strategy with a few tweaks as you reach the money bubble. With the added bonus of just cashing in both it would be wise to pass up marginal situations on the bubble. Also, if you are alive in both tournaments after the bubble bursts, start looking at your opponents to see if they are alive in both so you can keep track of who you need to finish ahead of for the 2% bonus.
