Field: 5287 players
The largest field for an FTOPS XI event wound up also being one of its cheapest tournaments. The $129 No Limit Hold'em Knockout Event brought in a record setting 9,061 players, far surpassing the 7,000 players who attended the same tournament during FTOPS X. The win went to girlyhurly who turned a paltry $129 into $144,000.
Getting under way on Saturday and stretching into Sunday was the $5,200 buy-in Two Day Event, the richest tourney offered on the FTOPS schedule. The 500 player field more than covered the $2.5 million guaranteed prize pool and at the end of the two day grind, fyrtuk managed to edge out Ultimate Bet Star Player Adam "Roothlus" Levy heads up, taking home $625,000 for his efforts.
