EPT London Changes Venue

To accomodate more players, this year's EPT London will change venue to Hilton Metropole Hotel.

Since the start of the ever popular PokerStars European Poker Tour London, it has been held at the world famous Grosvenor Victoria Casino every year. However, for the very first year since it started six years ago, the EPT London will be moving from Edware Road, the location of the Grosvenor Victoria Casino, and moving to nearby Hilton Metropole Hotel.

EPT London increases in popularity

The EPT London Main Event reached it's capacity of 596 poker players last year, so this year the venue has been changed to accommodate the massive 16 event festival. With more poker player set to travel to London than any year previous, PokerStars and the EPT have had to change location to cope with the numbers expected. This year the Hilton Metropole Hotel will be able to accommodate 800 players come October when the event is set to start. With the extra player being able to play and the EPT Main Event surely to fill again with poker players from UK and the World coming to play, the estimated prize pool is expected to top £4,000,000 this year. This will surely make the decision to move from the famous Grosvenor Victoria Casino to Hilton Metropole Hotel a success.

EPT London 2009 Schedule

Expecting this years PokerStars EPT London festival to be the biggest to date with 16 separate events scheduled, plus upto 28 cash tables running at the close by Grosvenor Victoria Casino, this year is sure to be a massive success.
