Deliverance Poker Sues Michael Mizrachi and Full Tilt Poker

Michael MizrachiDeliverance Poker has sued Michael Mizrachi and Full Tilt Poker according to Wicked Chops Poker. In documents filed in the Texas Western District Court, Deliverance Poker is claiming breach of contract. The lawsuit indicates Mizrachi was paid $150,000, given buy-ins to various poker tournaments and a 1.75% stake in the company.

The lawsuit stated that Mizrachi was under contract to wear Deliverance Poker logos exclusively during public appearances and tournaments, including the 2010 WSOP Main Event. The contract also states Mizrachi granted Deliverance exclusive rights to his name, voice and likeness The lawsuit was filed to recover lost earnings, profits and earning capacity.

Full Tilt Poker was also named in the lawsuit because Mizrachi switched from Deliverance Poker logos to Full Tilt Poker logos late in the 2010 WSOP Main Event and they were aware of his existing deal.

Wicked Chops Poker also mentions it has been rumored a relative of Mizrachi is the owner of Deliverance Poker although nothing has been confirmed to date.

Review of the Deliverance Poker site still shows Mizrachlisted as a “DP Pro” and has photos of him on the web site.
