Antonius and Dwan to Give Poker Lessons

By Nathan Carroll, Rakeback.com Poker News Staff Writer

antonius-dwan-poker-coachingIn a special one-time deal arranged by Full Tilt Poker Pro Brandon Adams, giants of the poker world Patrik Antonius and Tom 'durrrr' Dwan will offer paid poker coaching to two lucky auction winners.

As Adams explained in a post on the Two Plus Two Forums, the deal is part of his new online venture called Expert Insight, which provides a way for experts and paying clients to arrange online meetings. Initially, the site will focus heavily on poker instruction, but Adams hopes to revolutionize one-on-one coaching in all fields. He writes that more than 70 experts have committed to the project.

Instruction Process

As current poker coaches could tell you, it's possible to set up paid discussion over the internet using tools that are already available such as PayPal and Skype, but it's a complicated process involving several different web tools. Expert Insight aims to streamline the process by amalgamating scheduling, payment, and the actual audio and/or video meeting all onto one single platform.

Current Bidding

Antonius and Dwan come in as special guest experts, who will auction off their time to promote the site's launch. Antonius will give his one-hour lesson on April 18, the site's launch day. Dwan will follow up with his expertise on April 19.

Bids for both lessons are currently at $3,000. There are no details yet about what exactly the sessions will entail, but with both players being among the best in the world, there's no doubt that Antonius or Dwan could bring your game to the next level.

Also on the docket are lessons from Ben 'Sauce123' Sulsky, who has over $2 million in online cash game winnings, and Chris 'GoMukYaself' Sparks, who's also racked up lifetime winnings in the seven figures. The current bids for an hour long lesson with Sulsky and Sparks stand at $1,000 and $600, respectively.

If you're feeling ambivalent about the cream of the poker crop getting even richer, don't worry: it's for a good cause. Adams explains that "more than 60%" of the proceeds from these first four calls will be donated to Morris Jeff Community School, an early elementary school in Adams' hometown of New Orleans.
