The schedule for the eighth season of the World Series of Poker Circuit Tour (WSOP-C) has been released and the unofficial motto of the tour this year is “12 Rings in 12 Days.”
Each of the 16 WSOP-C stops will begin on a Thursday and the three-day Main Event will begin on the second Saturday after that, which will bring each location a total of 12 official WSOP gold ring events over the course of 12 consecutive days.
Here are a few more notes/changes to the WSOP-C events this year:
Here’s the schedule for the 2011-2012 World Series of Poker Circuit Tour:
There will be a WSOP-C National Championship once again where the first official WSOP gold bracelet will be awarded for 2012, but the exact date and location have yet to be announced. Last year’s championship was held Caesars Palace in Las Vegas at the end of May, just prior to the kickoff of the WSOP.
Sam Barnhart was the first official bracelet winner in 2011 as a result of winning the WSOP-C National Championship. Barnhart parlayed his success into a 17th place finish and nearly $400K in winnings in the WSOP Main Event later in the summer.
