It has been a mostly quiet few days in the poker world, so we thought it would be a good time to conglomerate a few minor stories that you may be interested in.
First of all, Phil Galfond has written a new entry on his popular blog. Galfond is as widely respected for his approach to being a poker player as he is for his actual skill on the tables, and it's not every day that he offers advice like this for free. If you're interested in some of the philosophies that helped him succeed in poker (and you should be interested!), we highly recommend you check it out.
Next, we'd like to direct your attention to the poker set pictured to the right. See anything special about it?
Well, neither do we. However, that isn't preventing Giorgio Armani from selling it for €876 (roughly $1,034). That seems like a reasonable price for 2 decks of cards, 5 dice, and 138 plastic chips, right?
Finally, a new documentary titled "All In: The Poker Movie" has been completed this week. The film tells the story of underground poker clubs in New York City, and as the poster shows it features interviews with quite a few familiar faces. You'll be able to get more information on the movie in the coming months via the film's Facebook page, and a limited theater release is scheduled for this Spring.
