ESPN viewers can brace themselves for coverage of the 2015 WSOP Main Event, starting September 14.
The first episodes air on ESPN2, then switch to ESPN on October 4 as the field gets shorter. Live coverage of the November Nine - the WSOP Main Event Final Table - begins on November 8 and the bracelet will be decided on November 10.
The 2015 WSOP Main Event began with 6,420 players all looking to achieve every poker player’s dream.
Out of a total prize pool of $60,348,000, the winner will not only get the gold bracelet, and prestige of being poker’s word champion, he will walk away with $7,680,021 in prize money.
Every single player who made it to the November Nine is now a millionaire. Ninth place prize money of just over $1 million was paid out as soon as they qualified for the final table.
The most exciting time in the poker year is about to start. As a teaser, ESPN has already broadcast the WSOP National Championship where Daniel Negreanu managed to make the final table.
