The new professional poker league created by Annie Duke and Jeffrey Pollack may not have a name yet, but it’s looking like it may have found a television home, and on network television to boot.
Variety is reporting that CBS is in early discussions to televise the inaugural season of the league. The league recently announced its schedule, which consists of four tournaments beginning in August, followed by a championship event next January.
The league, operated by Pollack’s company Federated Sports + Gaming, will hold all events at The Palms Casino Resort in Las Vegas, Nevada.
CBS has declined to comment on the matter for the time being.
