With the L.A. Poker Classic in full swing, celebrity sightings are becoming commonplace at the Commerce Casino.
Less than 24 hours after appearing in Las Vegas to promote his upcoming championship fight against Shane Mosley, welterweight boxing champion Manny Pacquiao was seen at the Commerce Casino pushing chips around at a high stakes cash table.
No word on whether or not the boxer/actor/politician/musician was on hand to take part in any of the 54 events on the L.A. Poker Classic tournament schedule, but he was in good spirits and seemed to be having a great time at the NLHE table.
Matt Savage, tournament director at the L.A. Poker Classic Main Event, has been posting celebrity pictures to his Twitter feed lately as well. Steve Martin was at the Commerce and stopped to talk with Savage for a few minutes and posed for a snapshot. Los Angeles Lakers owner Jerry Buss and business associate Frank Mariani were spotted in a Commerce ballroom catching the Lakers game.
With the WPT Celebrity Invitational this Saturday at the Commerce, expect more celebrity sighting over the next few days.
