Ongame Debuts Strobe Poker

By , Rakeback.com Poker News Editor

This week, the Ongame Network debuted “Strobe Poker”, a fast-fold poker variant which will allow players to participate in far more hands per hour at a single table. Players with accounts at Rakeback.com partners Betsson, Betsafe, and RedKings can check it out.

The concept is simple – each time you fold a hand, you’re moved to another table and dealt a new one. This way, you can rapidly cycle through your worst hands and spend all of your time playing the ones you like. Unless you have chips in the pot, you can fold at any time.

Other than the fact that it’s easy to play a few hundred hands per hour at a single table, most things about Strobe Poker are the same as normal tables. You’ll earn the same player points for each hand, have the same time to act as a normal table, and be able to see hand outcomes via histories.

Currently, Strobe Poker is only being offered at 5-max No-Limit Hold’em Tables at $0.05/$0.10 and $0.15/$0.30, but if those games are successful it’s safe to assume that Ongame will spread them at higher limits as well.

If you typically play on an Ongame site via a mobile device, Strobe is already fully supported so you can check it out there as well. Simply download the latest update to the software and enjoy!
