Poker Players Alliance Unveils New Letters
The Poker Players Alliance (PPA) is the organization lobbying the United States Congress and President Obama to amend the Unlawful Internet Gambling Enforcement Act (UIGEA). They have released new form letters regarding upcoming poker legislation which can be easily sent to President Obama and your other elected officials.
What can be done?
You may use the PPA form to write to Congress and President Obama now. Although the PPA is a powerful voice for the full legalization of Internet poker, they are merely the trumpet for the voices of ordinary poker players across the United States. In order for Congress and President Obama to take them seriously, they need you to send the letters. If you play poker on the internet, this concerns you.
PPA action center
The PPA seeks to allow skill games such as online poker. They want to persuade Congress and President Obama to support both S. 1597, the Internet Poker and Games of Skill Regulation, Consumer Protection, and Enforcement Act of 2009 and H.R. 2267, the Internet Gambling Regulation, Consumer Protection and Enforcement Act. By following the link below and taking only 60 seconds, you can let your elected officials and President Obama know that you support these important pieces of legislation.
Please visit http://theppa.org/takeaction and make sure our lawmakers hear from all of us. Once done, please ask your spouse, significant other, friends, and family to do the same.
