Vanessa Rousso Lists Lamborghini on eBay

Vanessa Rousso Lambo GallardoAre you in the market for a lightly used Lamborghini? Then you’re in luck! French-American poker pro Vanessa Rousso recently, with the help of local broker Celebrity Cars Las Vegas, listed her 2007 Gallardo on eBay. Although the Gallardo is considered Lamborghini’s entry level model, don’t expect a bargain. With only 12,875 miles on the odometer and a tricked out interior that includes a backup camera and navigation system, the car is sure to go for six figures.

Predictably, the listing has triggered a wave of speculation that Rousso is badly in need of liquid assets–or, to put it more colloquially, she’s busto.

But although there’s no way to stop the message board hordes from trashing her financial standing, poker skills, or looks (in spite of the fact that she appeared in the Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Issue and was named by Maxim as one of the hottest women in poker), there’s no reason to suspect she’s fallen on hard times. Thanks to her big scores in the 2009 EPT Monte Carlo high-roller event (she won it for $749,467), and the 2009 NBC National Heads-Up Championship (2nd, $250,000), she currently sits in 5th place on the women’s all-time tournament cash leaderboard with over $2.6 million to her credit.

She’s no slouch online, either. Vanessa is a sponsored PokerStars pro, and she’s accumulated nearly $1 million in tournament cashes under the name LadyMaverick.

So while it’s possible Vanessa is strapped for cash, it’s more likely she just decided to trade in her whip for a more practical model. Or maybe she’s foreseeing an electric car revolution in the U.S. and wants to stay on the cutting edge.

In any case, the canary yellow V-10 Gallardo is listed with a Buy it Now price of $126,500, but no one’s bitten so far. There are also no takers on the bidding, but with 11 days still to go until the auction ends, I think it’s safe to say we’ll see the action heat up soon.
