Erick Lindgren Not Paying Over $100,000 in Fantasy League Debt

Erick Lindgren has had a remarkable career at the poker tables. His accomplishments include a WSOP bracelet, 2 WPT titles, and over $8.4 million in career tournament earnings.
In the high-stakes gambling world, however, Lindgren is also known for his expensive sports betting habit. This week, that habit was exposed in a thread on the TwoPlusTwo forums in which several participants in a fantasy sports league claim that Lindgren owes them a sum totaling over $100,000.
At least 5 league participants have posted in the thread claiming that they have been attempting to collect money from Lindgren, and all of them have had a rough time even getting Lindgren to respond to them. The claims range from $2,800 to $66,000, and the payments are at least 3 months late at this point.
As a former member of Team Full Tilt, it is widely speculated that Lindgren’s lifestyle is no longer sustainable without the monthly payments he was receiving from Full Tilt. He is notoriously late on making payments on gambling losses, but without a source of income those who are owed fear they will never receive what they are owed.
The most recent response that any league members received from Lindgren happened on February 24th, when he responded to a request for payment by stating:
“Hey man just seeing your emails, sorry have been insanely busy with 3-month-old, moving and getting back to playing. You have every right to do whatever you would like but I do promise I can get a check in the mail by tomorrow. I am in LA but have to go home tonight after poker to take care of some things. Hope that is ok.”
To date, the involved parties haven’t received anything.
