NBC Heads-Up Championship: The Complete List of 64 Players

By , Rakeback.com Poker News Editor

Earlier this week, the NBC National Heads-Up Poker Championship revealed 32 players who will be playing in the event between January 24th and 26th at Caesars Palace in Las Vegas.

Quite a few noteworthy names were left out, and now it’s time to find out who made the cut and who is missing.

In past years, both celebrities and top poker pros from either live OR online play have made the cut, but it seems the celebrities have chosen not to show up this year. Of the 64 participating players, just 2 – actress Jennifer Tilly (pictured below) and The Simpsons co-creator Sam Simon – are famous primarily for achievements outside of poker. Coincidentally, Tilly and Simon were once married.
