The 2017 World Series Of Poker (WSOP) kicked off earlier this week and already Daniel Negreanu is at a final table looking for another bracelet.

Daniel “Kid Poker” Negreanu is a Canadian born professional poker player who’s won 6 WSOP championship bracelets and 2 World Poker Tour (WPT) titles. At just 42 years of age Negreanu is already a member of the Poker Hall of Fame.

He’s a Team PokerStars pro and in general a great ambassador for the game. He could currently be the single most popular poker player in the world. He is undeniably one of the best poker players of this generation.

Bracelet Hunting

Daniel and company have wasted no time this year as he and his teammates find themselves “chip leaders” at the final table of Event #2, the $10,000 buy-in Tag Team No-Limit Hold’em Championship.

That’s right, this is a team event where teammates swap in and out of the action. Negreanu’s teammates are David Benyamine, Mark Gregorich, and Eric Wasserson.

With just six teams left, Negreanu is in the mix for bracelet #7, and looking to add to his already staggering tournament earnings of nearly $34,000,000.
