live-poker-roundupPlenty of action on the live felt over the past seven days. Check out who won some of the major tournaments this week.

EPT Snowfest

Held in the beautiful country of Austria, the 2011 EPT Snowfest final table lasted nine hours, and featured plenty of drama and ego clashes throughout. In the end it was Russian Vladimir Geshkenbein who walked away with the championship trophy and €390,000 ($553,157) in winnings.

Wynn Classic

Full Tilt Pro Annette Obrestad has already proven herself to be more than just a flash-in-the-pan youngster with a short case of rungood. She didn’t win the $5,000 buy-in no limit hold’em championship at the 2011 Wynn Classic in Las Vegas, but she did finish second, and provided Tim West with a heads-up battle for the ages.

In the end it was West who claimed the title and over $300,000 in winnings after besting the field of 212 players.

World Series of Poker Circuit Event – Rincon

Seneca Easley claimed the Main Event championship and won $70,384 for outlasting the disappointingly  small field of 188 at the World Series of Poker Circuit Event at Harrah’s Rincon near San Diego, California.
Easley, from Fort Worth, Texas, entered final table play with the chip lead, and despite a few setbacks, was able to close the deal and claim the WSOP Gold Ring and a seat in the season ending Tournament of Champions.
