Now that the World Series of Poker Circuit season is complete, fans will have a chance to see how all the action unfolded on television.
The broadcast schedule for selected WSOP-C events was unveiled Tuesday, and die hard poker fans will have ten hours of programming to digest throughout the month of June. VERSUS, a national cable sports network in the United States, will be airing coverage of the WSOP-C every Thursday evening throughout the month of June.
The first four weeks will be devoted to the four $10,000 regional championships held across the United States. The fifth and final week will cover the $1,000,000 National Championship (don’t click the link if you don’t want to be spoiled) which was held last week at Caesars Palace in Las Vegas.
“It was a tremendous year for the WSOP Circuit with many amazing stories and improbable outcomes,” WSOP Executive Director Ty Stewart said. “With the Stanley Cup playoffs coming to an end on VERSUS, we look forward to filling a weekly primetime slot each Thursday night in June.”
