PartyPoker Introduces Withdrawal Charges for eWallets

By , Rakeback.com Executive Editor

In line with its new strategy of targeting recreational players, PartyPoker has introduced a $4 +3% fee on withdrawals to Moneybookers (Skrill) and Neteller.

For UK sterling accounts the fee is £2.50 and accounts in Euros are being charged €3. Check withdrawals continue to carry a $5 charge and for larger sums, bank wire transfers can be made for $50.

Paypal and credit card withdrawals continue to be fee free, but players must first deposit using their cards before the same method can be used for withdrawals.

PartyPoker’s main rivals, PokerStars, FullTilt and 888poker continue to allow fee free withdrawals on Skrill and Neteller.

The latest US facing poker room cash out report from John “PokerAddict” Mehaffey, shows Winning Poker Network (WPN) sites such as Americas Cardroom and Black Chip Poker narrowly behind Bovada for cash out performance.

Both (WPN) sites offer a proprietary debit card at a one off cost of $25. Withdrawals can be made using the card at almost any ATM and cost $4.95 plus ATM specific fees. Weekly withdrawals can be made up to $2,500 with a $10k monthly maximum. Each withdrawal takes one to four days before being accessible.
