Many players get awarded free bonuses - with no deposit required, you can just activate them at the click of a button once received and enjoy extra effective rakeback on top of your normal play.
These bonuses are apparently random, but we've noticed a few patterns on Party Poker and WPT Poker (most likely they apply to the other few skins too).
If you don't immediately deposit as a new player on Party Poker to activate the sign-up bonus - getting funds on by swaps and inter-account transfers with friends instead - you should be offered several $100 bonuses.
Claiming these smaller free bonuses won't void your $500 sign-up bonus offer; you have 90 days to actually deposit and claim that, and can do so at the last minute, snapping up smaller bonus offers along the way. It seems Party Poker is keen to keep new players active and the fact that you don't have an active bonus yet registers with them automatically.
If you rake a large amount over a short time period, you can receive $200-$1,000 bonus offers as an incentive to keep going, especially if you're scaling the VIP levels. Myself and others have received a $1,000 bonus offer for reaching Palladium status within the first month of playing on a new account.
If your volume suddenly drops off drastically, e.g. when you're on holiday or checking out a promotion on a different site one month, you can be offered $200-$500 as an incentive to come back.
Make sure you check the email linked to your poker account regularly, as notifications of these bonus offers are also sent there if you don't log-in to Party to find out in time.
As a Palladium VIP, players usually receive a $100 no-deposit bonus as a present on every birthday!
Back in the halcyon days of Party Poker being open to US players, the site had a great reputation for helping games thrive by showering players with large, frequent, easily cleared reload bonuses. To a decent extent that philosophy still holds, with Party investing millions back into the player pool each year and being extremely generous with bonuses.
Reload bonuses requiring a deposit to claim can come as part of a monthly promotion. Quite often they are heavily advertised online and within the game client. 100% up to $100 is the most common type, with usually 30 days and 600 points to clear, released in a few installments. These can offer a nice little extra rakeback boost.
Keeping your ear to the ground for the secret reload bonuses, however, is even more valuable. These are most often offered around the time of World Poker Tour (WPT) final table streams, which Party Poker usually sponsors.
We will exclusively tweet every secret bonus code we hear of, in short messages like the one shown below. Keep up to date by clicking follow above. You can also search through our feed for codes using the hashtag #rbcode.
Once you get word from us you'll then have 24 hours to make a deposit with the correct bonus code to claim them. Make sure to pass the word along to some recreational players at the tables too, as games can be great at these times.
Party Poker support is very forthcoming and generous with handing out bonuses if you ask them nicely, especially if you're at Palladium level and emailing your VIP contacts at [email protected].
