Party Poker Multi-Table Tournaments
Multi-table Tournaments on Party Poker give you the chance to win big with only a small investment. Unlike Sit & Go’s, multi-table tournaments have a scheduled start time and will begin at that time regardless of how many people have registered.
Entry Fees & Registration
The price to enter any given tournament is split into two parts: one which goes straight into the prize pool, and one that is collected by Party Poker as a fee for hosing the tournament. Party MTT tournament fees fall within the margins laid out in this chart:
Extended MTT Registration
Players are allowed to register for a tournament up until one of the following occurs:
- The end of the first level is reached
- A player is eliminated
- The tournament reaches its registration cap
Once registered for a multi-table tournament, players are allowed to unregister any time up until 15 minutes prior to the start of the tournament.
Some Party Poker tournaments allow players to make rebuys during the first level if their chip stack is at or below its starting level. These tournaments may also offer an add-on at the end of the first level, available to all players regardless of chip count.
The number of rebuys and/or add-ons allowed in any given tournament can vary from zero to infinite. Be sure to check the tournament lobby for how many rebuys and add-ons are available and for how much.
Deals at Final Table
The Party Poker software has a built-in mechanism to handle deals among the players in the final table of some tournaments. This allows players to negotiate over a way to split some or all of the remaining prize pool. A deal cannot be finalized unless all players remaining have agreed to it. You can find out if a tournament has the possibility of deal-making by opening the tournament lobby and looking at the top bulletin board message.
