Live Poker in New Hampshire

New Hampshire PokerThere are several live poker rooms New Hampshire. Most are located in the southern portion of the state with the largest being Rockingham Park Poker Room in Salem. It houses 60 tables, however state law caps any bet in a cash game at $4, obviously limiting action. For higher stakes playing online poker makes sense.

Online Poker Legislation

Online poker legislation has not been addressed by New Hampshire, however in 2010 then Governor John Lynch said he could support online gambling due to the state’s budget deficit. The subject was quickly dropped when no legislator pursued it.

Recently the state’s new Governor, Maggie Hassan, backed a bill that would bring a high end casino to the state. The bill which could have paved the way for future online gambling legislation did not pass.

Poker legislation can change on a day to day basis - contact us by email if you see an update that should be made to this page or have difficulties getting online to play.
