In freerolls it's generally people who think that they have a better chance of making it to the money by wasting time - by waiting until everyone else goes out. There's probably a time during a tournament where that might work in your favour. But if you do it from the start, you just get to play less hands and the blinds keep increasing.

What annoys me the most is people playing 20 tables at once and taking forever to make their decision, because they're busy elsewhere. (Usually easily identifyable by the fact that they sometimes make very quick decisions, and don't always run down the clock. And they'll occasionally sit out for a couple of hands.)

And also people calling huge raises or all-ins with absolute junk... and getting lucky 9 times out of 10. (Which, I guess, is why they do it. Maybe I should try it sometime...) I don't think it puts me on tilt (anymore), though. I've gotten used to it by now.
