I have never considered poker a reason to vote or not vote for a political candidate. However in Mass. there is talk of allowing casino's. I think it's about high damn time. However, they are trying to introduce legislation that would ban and criminlize internet gambling. Banning online gambling is bad enough but to actually suggest it be criminilized????? I have contacted my local politicians to 1 ask why the hypocrisy? 2 do they really want my vote along with 1000's of other poker players who vote? If so they seriously need to rethink laws that would exclude one medium of gambling to benefit another... Heck I like Foxwoods and don't mind the 50 min ride..So as far as local politics are concerned a candidates position on the issue is important to me.
