U should defenitely not play in a ring game unless u have 20 buy ins. I set a rule of 40 buy-ins for myself. I play full time for a living. My worst swing was losing 18 buy ins in a week, It took all sorts of sick beats including the worst of em all ( which happened twice) the ole 999 to 1 on flop. runner runner for an underpair to beat my set of aces. Happens all the time if u play enough.. I think single table sng's 20-30 buy ins is safe for a strong player. As far as multitable tournaments, i wouldnt risk more than 2%. |
