It seems everytime I get a good at a table I run across a bad beat were my opponent was one out and it hits. This drives me up the wall everytime and I usually spin out of control and lose the rest of my bankroll. I know this type of beat happens in poker, and I am wondering if any one has any ideas on how to deal with it so I dont keep going ape bleep and losing the rest of my bank roll.
I have thought about buying a punching bag and resorting to that when this happens.
Please help!! |
Remember this one:
Try to see poker as a whole: a game of variance and small margins. Making a move with a +EV will earn you money in the long run. When taking a bad beat, remember that, know you will make more than villain in the long run, and keep playing.
However, if you know yourself you will be able to feel tilts coming on. If so, just stop and live to play another day...
Good luck sir!
