I think that the whole thread is a bit odd, starting by its name.
I wouldnt even dream of calling myself a professional with anything under 50k-100k€ on my roll.
In the case I ever get into that situation, it still would be worth a good and long think wether to start to play poker as a profession, since its not a stable career with no worries about finances. And its a very demanding way to live with the rise of poker that is going on again. Finnish pros are luckily not too media sexy, at least in finland, so they can concentrate on their lives, but I could imagine its a different story in america for example.. |
