The first hand he slow played the aces against 9-4 and paid for it. It is heads up, so we can not say for sure you would have folded to a 3 times BB raise. But if he did raise preflop at least he would have some pressure for you to fold and not hit the garbage cards two pair and beat him. Once the flop came you were both rightfully shoving chips into the pot.
As for the KK vs AA, bad timing for you, that is until that wonderful flop, then it was bad timing for him/her. I do not know too many players, if any who would fold KK heads up against any raise.
Congrats on the win, you had a suckout at the end, but played it just fine. You got into a position of heads up where anything goes and came out on top. |
