Default Fold

I do not have any problem folding any hand at any time. Preflop aces are the only auto forward hand in poker.

Last night I kept my kings preflop, it was later in a single table S&G, blinds getiing up there, I made a nice raise preflop, was re-raised, I had too much invested in the current pot to fold this time, he had his aces, I lost. I did not have the best of reads on this player, but at the time of the game I felt the play was fine.

The other day I had the ace on the flop scenerio when having poket kings. Once the other player bet the flop, the kings went into the muck. I had a pretty good read on this player and knew he had a better hand, maybe even trips.

Kings are a great starting hand, but after the flop I play all pairs accordingly now that a 5 card hand is determined. Not all aces will scare off my kings, but folding is always an option.

Thanks,
