A scenario where folding kings is quite easy, and this seems to happen a whole lot at NL100. Someone makes a standard bet pre-flop, you raise a hefty amount, say $12-$15, it gets folded to the original bettor who makes then a ridiculously huge re-raise. That's an easy fold, even if he didn't have aces, it's still right to fold.
On the flop I normally don't fold KK even if an ace hits the board. It seems that people are a little too worried about the ace hitting opponents hand. If I've got position, depending on the player up against me, I either call or raise. Someone could hold for example AQ or AK and be worried about your hand, so they might check the turn, or just bet too little. Then I just keep calling if the bets are "too small" in relation to the pot. OOP it's naturally a lot more difficult, and I just play it "by the ear". One time I might fold, the other raise, etc... Depending on a number of things.
