I would have played the hand the same way on the flop. I like to wait until the turn to make a raise. Usually by the the other player has to much invested with his overpair to get away from the hand and you can stack him. Unfortunately he caught his gin card and there was no way you could get away from it. I would have bet the turn, but still would have lost my entire stack just like you did. |
