In tournaments and sit and gos, I am usually betting 1/2 of the pot... sometimes straying towards the full pot and rarely going under 1/2. In general, I find that if they're going to fold... they will fold to 1/2pot nearly as often as full-pot. This bet may not be optimum for value but it's near optimum for continuation betting... which I will be doing often when I miss. So the fact that it becomes a fairly routine amount helps to disguise when I have a real hand and when I am trying to just pick up the pot.

On the turn, I might bet a little higher... if I have a real hand and need to get someone out of the pot right there because too many river cards would be scary.
