While I appreciate your concern about my computational requirements, I feel that you fail to fully understand them. Online poker is a past-time for me and not something which I feel is major enough to change major areas for; on top of that, the two places I play on most often are fully supported on my computers (PS and FTP both have a Mac client and PS works perfectly under wine on the workstation).
Seriously, I have three very functional computers that work perfectly (one of which is very new). There is nothing which defines wasteful so much as the idea that I need yet another computer. And then there is the issues with security concerns about adding a Windows machine to my internal network, backup processes which would need to be modified or completely thrown out and recreated, server interoperability issues to resolve... I don't have enough hours in the week to waste so many just to add a new computer so that a poker site works better.
