No, no, no...not at all...I am not judging Raymer simply from the one match I saw him play the other night...that would be silly...I'm just saying that this seems to be his pattern over the past year or so every time I've seen him in an event, he's much less aggressive than he used to be, conversely he's been very passive, and rather than trying to re-raise and be aggressive like before, he elects to fold more often than not, or smooth call and end up getting pushed out of more pots than he used to. I remember back when the "fossil man" was the talk of the shows.....now though, it just seems like he's kind of taken a back seat to other more aggressive and action-based players. Maybe he's just slowing down, maybe he's trying a new style...I don't know...but he's definitely not the same Raymer I remember watching in the past. |
