In my opinion, from the poll list of poker players, Greg Raymer and Joseph Hachem are both up-and-comers in the poker world. 
I have noticed a few famous people (actors, musicans, etc.) that have been playing in the WSOP events over the past few years. (They can afford to travel and pay the entry fees.) Sully Erna from the rock band, Godsmack is currently in Event 2: NLHE. Good Luck, Sully! 
Rounders 2: Filmed in Boston this time. Matt Damon and Sully Erna playing heads up NLHE. Heheheh.
