O.K. I actually started out the freeroll way myself, about 3 years ago. I finished 3rd in a 12000 player Partypoker freeroll and won $50. When I went to play my $50. for real money, Partypoker told me I must make a deposit before I can play for real money. Obvoiusly you can only make your first deposit one time so I thought I might as well get the best sign up bonus I could clear.
I'm not sure if other sites let you play freeroll winnings without making a deposit first.
You will learn very little about bankroll management when you have no bankroll. Even when you win 50 cents in a freeroll, you will have to play outside of your bankroll just to play on the micros.
I'm not trying to steal your thunder, I'm just saying there is an easier way to do this for some.
