Neimals...I wish you the best 982 out of a field of 25000 is not too bad at all...I'd venture to say you've definitely got what it takes to make it all the way...just gotta manage your way through the labyrinth of bad luck, which we all do.

Oh, and another thought if you haven't tried it yet, you could try playing cheaper satellites to win entry into the larger tournaments, so you're not chancing too much of your bankroll at a time. If you're good enough to beat 24000+ players as above, then you should have no trouble in a shorter SNG satellite
