Ahhh okay so then the "NC" meant probably "Nice Catch" rather than "Nice Call" I assume? Sorry you lost with AA, that hurts every time.
As for the loose players at the table, they are the ones to always worry about...People always say it's the tight players to watch out for, but in my experience I just can't help but disagree with that. I can push a tight player around much easier than a loose one, and make more leeway. But, to each his own, I guess. 
Glad to see you've got a good attitude toward the hand in question. You got in with the best on the flop, but the turn was unlucky. As you put it so well, $h!t happens
