I think it's a good idea but i too belive 10 minutes is too long, you could enter a tourney thinking it's a field of about 80 players and will take about 2 hours but end up in a 300 player 5 hour job, not ideal. Personally i hate ultimate bets alternates list system, you can be waiting on the list for 20 minutes or more then end up not even getting in. Also if you do just about make it in time, you come in effectively short stacked compared to the average despite having paid the same entry fee as everybody else, you miss out on a lot of hands. They'd be better off having a set number of late reg seats up for grabs and if you get one you go straight into the tourney. |
